Calculators that show their working.

Most free calculators hand you a monthly figure and hide the rest. These show the whole schedule, month by month, because the schedule is the part that actually tells you something. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Loan payoff calculator

Annuity or linear repayment, with the full amortisation schedule — interest against principal, month by month, and the real payoff date. Add an extra monthly payment and it tells you how many months and how much interest that removes.

It uses the same maths as the loans screen in CroSum, including the effective interest convention, so the two agree.

Savings goal calculator

Works either direction: give it a target and a date and it returns the monthly amount, or give it a monthly amount and it returns the date. Handles a starting balance and an interest rate, and shows the balance growing month by month.

Same engine as the savings goals in the app.

Nothing is collected. Both calculators run entirely in your browser. There is no form submission, no account, no cookie and no analytics on these pages — the numbers you type never reach a server, ours or anyone else's. That is the same principle the app is built on.

These are tools, not advice. CroSum is a tracking and budgeting app, not a regulated financial adviser, and the output is arithmetic on the numbers you entered — not a personalised recommendation. For decisions that matter, talk to someone qualified.
